Tony OsborneTony is the firm’s senior partner and head of the property department. He joined the firm in 1956, became a partner in 1978 and has been senior partner since 1994. He specialises in commercial property transactions and estate development of sales and also deals with licensing and charity law. Tony has lived in South Devon for most of his life and has a large client following. |

Nigel ButtNigel was born and raised in Torbay and since joining the firm in 1990 he has practiced from our offices throughout the South Hams and built up a substantial Client base in the area. Nigel is principally a Defence Solicitor in terms of Criminal work and a Claimant’s Solicitor in terms of Personal Injury work. He enjoys representing the individual rather than the State or Establishment. Out of the office he is the Captain of a local Cricket team, has a young family, and is currently taking an Open University Degree in Natural Sciences. |

Chris KendallHaving been born and raised in Totnes, Chris joined Windeatts in 1993, and qualified as a solicitor in 1995. He became a partner in January 2000, and is now head of the Private Client department and co-managing partner of the Totnes office. He specialises in Wills, tax planning, the administration estates and trusts, and also advises elderly clients and their families on a range of issues including powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications and the financial and legal implications of long term residential or nursing care. His broad range of experience and sensitivity to the needs and feelings of his clients make him well placed to help them through what can often be complicated and emotive issues. |

Fiona HughesFiona joined the firm in June 1993 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 2001. She was subsequently admitted as a solicitor in September 2002, became a partner in 2005 and now co-manages the Totnes office. She has extensive experience in Personal Injury and general Civil Litigation including Landlord and Tenant, property disputes, trusts disputes for cohabitees and general contract matters. She seeks to ensure the rights and obligations of the individual and company alike are protected and asserted through the court system. |

William HubbardWilliam joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 1992. He has had wide experience in commercial property work and development as well as business sales, residential conveyancing and agricultural work. William lives locally and is married with two teenage children. |

Steve WatersHailing from Cornwall Steve qualified as a Solicitor in 2000, working for firms in Plymouth and Exeter before joining Windeatts in July 2009. He specialises in commercial property transactions ranging from commercial Landlord & Tenant through to sales and purchases in the leisure sector. Away from the office Steve is a keen sportsman with a particular interest in golf and cricket. |

Wendy HarrisWendy qualified as a Legal Executive in June 2000 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2002. She joined the firm in June 2003 and has extensive experience in personal injury law. She is a Senior litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and is committed to their Consumer Charter which puts clients’ best interests first. The Charter provides for clear, impartial, honest advice at a fair price with no hidden costs. Wendy also is our employment law specialist advising in all areas of employment law. Wendy became a Partner in October 2009. |

Nicola CampbellNicola Campbell qualified as a solicitor in 1990. Originally from N. Ireland, Nicola joined the Kingsbridge office of Windeatts in April 2008 and specialises in residential and commercial property. Her interests outside work include rugby union and she is completing a part time M.A. in the History of Sport at De Montfort University. Nicola became a Partner in October 2009 and took over the running of the Kingsbridge office in January 2010 after Richard Cropper’s retirement. |

Beverley WatsonBeverley joined the firm in March 1990 following a move to the West Country. She has extensive experience in all aspects of family law, with particular emphasis on Divorce, Children and Financial matters. She is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and is committed to their Code of Practice. Membership of Resolution commits family lawyers to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational and constructive way, encouraging agreement wherever possible between the parties with a view to minimising the distress of family breakdown. |

Kim HallKim joined the firm in October 2006 as a Legal Executive in the Conveyancing Department. Kim has considerable experience in domestic property conveyancing including Sale, Purchase, Remortgage, Transfer of Equity and Matrimonial Conveyancing. Kim qualified in October 2002 and was admitted as a Fellow in October 2004 but has worked for local Solicitors since 1985. Originally from Yorkshire she has lived in the local area for many years and has two teenage daughters. |
